Burns & McDonnell is helping the City of St. Louis attain its goals for Lambert-St. Louis International Airport by designing enhancements to and renovation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and special systems (MEPSS) in the ticketing hall and departure curbs; the mid-level north hall and Concourse C/D passenger security screening checkpoint; and the mid-level baggage claim and passenger arrival hall.

Burns & McDonnell is expanding space in the main terminal for ticketing, queuing, security, baggage claim, restrooms and circulation. We also are upgrading utility systems, fire/life-safety systems, communication systems and upgrading roadway configurations to reduce arrival and departure traffic congestion.

The City of St. Louis, through the St. Louis Airport Authority, embarked on a significant program to improve the passenger experience at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport by redefining, renovating and enhancing the main terminal ticketing hall, mid-level systems and concourse facilities. The goal was to re-establish Lambert as a front door to St. Louis and a national gateway offering substantial benefits for its airline tenants, the region and the traveling public.

The city's Board of Public Service selected Burns & McDonnell to lead the effort for the design of the main terminal ticketing hall and mid-level MEPSS.
