Burns & McDonnell is providing comprehensive planning, programming and A/E design services as the prime consultant. The Singapore Peace Vanguard  Hangar is an expansion to the AASF No. 2 project supporting the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF). The 24,500-square-foot three-bay hangar and 12,000-square-foot administration area provide facilities to support 137 National Guard personnel, Singapore Royal Airforce. The primary focus is training on and maintenance of AH-64 aircraft. The addition includes administrative, operational, supply, classroom, toilet/shower, locker and aircraft maintenance space.

The proposed project is adjacent to the Pinal County Airpark near Marana, Ariz. This project is an expansion of existing facilities to accommodate added force strength for the Army Aviation Support Facility activities and training of the Singapore Royal Airforce on AH-64 aircraft. These facilities meet the criteria of the National Guard Design Guide 415-3, as well as criteria established by the Singapore Royal Airforce.

Interior spaces include a kitchen, training rooms, open and private office work spaces, arms vaults, flight office, briefing room, operations, communications, a multi-purpose area, and a hangar three-bay maintenance area.

Building systems include overhead wet-pipe sprinkler system, fire detection and alarm system, HVAC systems, evaporative cooling, standby power system, data and voice networks, and fire protection.
