EPC Gas Plant

EPC Gas Plant

Location: Western Oklahoma

Client: Confidential

Completion Date: First quarter 2014 (est.)

Burns & McDonnell is providing engineering, procurement and construction for a grass-roots 200 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) gas plant in western Oklahoma. The project is being built on a new 40-acre site and requires coordination with the client's pipeline group and a substation contractor. Plant features include inlet and residue compression, cryogenic plant, modular piperacks, offsite shop-fabricated piping, NGL treatment and support systems. The owner is providing the gas plant process modules and the inlet/residue compressors, so Burns & McDonnell has been heavily involved in coordinating engineering and delivery issues. In addition to EPC services, Burns & McDonnell performed the front-end engineering for the plant and prepared a definitive estimate.
