Chisholm Trail Parkway (CTP) is a limited-access toll road in southwest Tarrant County that will extend from Fort Worth's central business district to southwest Fort Worth, continuing south to Cleburne, and provide a north-south alternate route for IH 35W.

Burns & McDonnell serves as the corridor construction manager for Section 5, approximately 5.8 miles from Altamesa Boulevard to FM 1187 (Crowley-Plover Road). This section consists of construction of cross streets and overpass bridges, slip ramps and main lanes pavements, signing and pavement markings, toll gantries and installation of all-electronic toll collection equipment and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

  • Construction of 12 new bridges
  • Construction of 12 new ramps (6 entrance and 6 exit)
  • Construction of three new diamond interchanges
  • Construction of four cast-in-place retaining walls, plus four MSE walls
  • 20 miles of continuously reinforced concrete pavement
  • Construction of nine new reinforced concrete box culverts
