Located in the Alexander Valley in Cloverdale, Calif., the Asti Winery dates back to 1887, surviving both the prohibition and the Great Depression. The winery now produces the Cellar No. 8 line of wines and has been renovated several times, including a recent update to the tasting room.

A division of the Foster's Group, the Asti Winery was selected to receive a photovoltaic solar system installation. The site contains four buildings — the Prati Building, Rossi Pad, Building 3 and Building 6-8 — all of which will receive a photovoltaic array on the roof for a total generation of 1 MW.
