34.5-kV/13.2-kV Distribution Line

Burns & McDonnell is working with the City of Highland, Ill., to construct approximately 3,700 linear feet of 34.5-kV/13.2-kV subtransmission and distribution line, 400 lineal feet of 9-bank underground concrete duct bank, and install underground feeders in existing 9-bank underground duct bank along newly Iberg Road.

Supplemental work associated with this work is directional boring under St. Rose Road at its intersection with Iberg Road and the installation of riser poles on the southeast and southwest corners of that intersection to split circuit #206. Also required is open cutting of Michael Road at its intersection with Iberg Road and the installation of a riser pole north of the Michael Road/Iberg Road intersection.

Burns & McDonnell is also installing approximately 1,000 lineal feet of new 34.5-kV subtransmission line on poles along Mulberry and Eighth streets and into the ring buss located in a substation in the Highland Power Plant yard.
