A Goals-Forward Approach

  • Burns & McDonnell University (BMU): Our on-site educational programs provide courses in marketing, management, technical training, software usage, safety and health, and other specialized courses.
  • Tuition Assistance: Get an advanced technical degree and you'll be fully reimbursed after six months of service. Even an MBA, depending on position and tenure, may be eligible for 100 percent reimbursement.
  • Professional Registration: We expect all our qualified technical professionals to apply for state registration as soon as they are able. And we make it easy to do so, with paid time off to take examinations and 100 percent coverage of the initial registration fee and annual renewals.
  • Technical Certification: We encourage our employee-owners to seek technical recognition through certification. For eligible employees, we'll pay 100 percent of both the initial certification and annual renewal fees.
  • Professional Society Memberships: We believe a presence in professional service organizations is evidence of our commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards. We'll cover your dues — and your expenses — for up to two professional or technical organizations.
